College of Business Thought Leadership Series – Tap into the Abilities of People with Disabilities: The Case of Employees with Hearing Loss

Join us for our 2024 College of Business Thought Leadership Series live event, “Tap into the Abilities of People with Disabilities: The Case of Employees with Hearing Loss,” with David Baldridge, the Toomey Faculty Fellow and Professor of Management in the College of Business. People with disabilities remain underemployed and marginalized in organizations and society. Professor Baldridge’s research examines the workplace experiences of people with disabilities with an emphasis on accommodation and career success among people with hearing loss. Professor Baldridge will provide a brief overview of current employment data for people with disabilities, explain his research in this area including diversity among people with disabilities, and provide practical implications for employees with hearing loss as well as their employers, supervisors, coworkers and allies.
