Hearing Loss Association of America California State Association (HLAA CA) is the consumers voice of people with hearing loss in California. We are a member organization and anyone residing in California who is a member of the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) is a member of HLAA-CA.
HLAA-CA is governed by a Board of Directors. Directors serve a three-year term and are elected by current, members of HLAA. Terms are staggered so that experienced directors always comprise a majority of the board. Board members are recruited from both Northern and Southern California HLAA chapters. Some members are people who live with hearing loss, while others are community supporters and/or relevant professionals. All directors are volunteers and generously give their time to improve the lives of Californians with hearing loss
