How to Become Involved
Join A Chapter
The majority of the important work that HLAA does happens in the local chapters. There are 15 chapters spread throughout California. If you are interested in volunteering your time to educate, advocate for or support people with hearing loss, click here to find a chapter near you.
Chapters regularly meet in person, but also do a fair amount of work via Zoom and other virtual meeting sites. So even if you do not live close to a chapter, you can still be involved and make a difference.
Don’t have time, but still want to help?
Click here to donate to the California State Association. Every dollar you share is used to directly help people with hearing loss. We teach people about technology, help students and employees navigate needed accommodations, advocate for bills in the State Legislature and work hard to insure that communications accommodations are installed throughout our great state of California. Your generosity can make a big difference!
